The classic antique mechanical winding dress watch.
We recreate an antique look with all-new components. Please see the images. The first image will be of an actual antique watch in amazing condition. This would cost thousands at auction. You get something similar and new for a few hundred.
This is a custom hand-assembled mechanical dress watch. We take apart a new movement and service it to make sure it runs perfectly. One of the photos shows the work near the end of the movement assembly.
It has a gold PVD case and gold PVD hands. The white enamel dial has a small seconds hand. The movement is based on an ETA 6498 and is called an ST3621.
It has a 41mm case with a sapphire crystal and a black leather crocodile strap. Gold PVD butterfly clasp. It is an unbranded dial, but it is essentially a homage to a Blancpain Villeret-type dress watch.
This is not a sports watch or a daily beater watch. You keep this for dress-related events. It is not water-resistant, despite its sealed caseback with a gasket. You don't wear it while washing your hands. It is that type of dress watch. You treat it with care, even given its low price, and you will have what looks like a watch that costs thousands and isn't that different from some that do cost that amount.
Any watch repair store can fix the movement type because the components are readily available and not expensive. Most of the price is in the job we do, making sure the movement is accurate and putting the piece together.
You wind it up to 10 turns in the morning, and it will run until the next morning and keep the exact time. So if you want an actual mechanical hand-winding dress watch that looks incredible, doesn't cost a small fortune, and was assembled and checked by someone in Europe, then this is the watch you want.
